DARK LIKE THE STORM

SONJA DELZONGLE

Four crime scenes, seven victims, one weapon: lightning.

After a stormy night, bodies are discovered on the island of Oléron and other nearby islands. Seven bodies which were struck by lightning. The case is assigned to Captain Max Fontaine, from the La Rochelle Criminal Investigation Department. His priority: to find the link between each of the victims, in the hope of tracing them back to their killer. However, he has no idea of the painful personal ordeal he is about to undergo, nor of the loneliness, helplessness and rage he will feel during this investigation. There will be many obstacles on his path before he gets to the truth.
An unusual thriller that tackles themes such as: thunderstorms, fulgurates - people who have survived a lightning strike - and storm chasers.

Sonja Delzongle has established herself, novel after novel, as the black star of French thriller. She devoted herself for many years to art before becoming a journalist in Lyon and to start writing thrillers.
